I love questions.  I like asking them, researching them, answering them.

At Girls Night, and at UPRISING, we like tough questions – because that means you’re really THINKING.

I believe that a little bit of doubt leads to skepticism, but a lot of doubt leads to faith.  That is to say – if you have enough doubt to ask good questions, but don’t care enough to get your hands dirty and do a little research – all you’re left with is unanswered questions.  Unanswered questions leave you with cynicism, agnosticism, and skepticism.  But if you have a lot of doubt, if you care enough to look for answers – you’ll find them.

I am also fully persuaded that God answers questions.

“‘Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD…” [Jeremiah 29:12-14]

“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” [Jeremiah 33:3]

“He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, he who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth— the LORD God Almighty is his name.” [Amos 4:13]

“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” [Jesus, in John 15:15]

So bring on the questions!    (Check out the “Questions” tag for some great questions from our teenagers – and answers from me, Dan, and other folks who are smarter than we are!)
